AsiaWell Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. ("AsiaWell", "we", "us") operates a telehealth platform connecting patients with licensed doctors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email, phone number, and language preference.
Health information: symptoms, medical history, consultation notes and prescriptions, and any lab reports, scans or other medical documents you upload for AI-assisted analysis.
Payment information: processed by our third-party payment provider; AsiaWell does not store full card details.
Usage information: device, browser and general usage data collected automatically to keep the platform secure and working well.

2. How We Use Your Information

To match you with an appropriate doctor and facilitate your consultation.
To maintain your consultation history and prescriptions for follow-up care.
To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
To meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
To improve the safety, quality and reliability of the platform.

3. AI-Assisted Processing

AsiaWell uses generative AI (Gen AI) tools to help structure your symptoms into an intake summary for your doctor, match you with an appropriate doctor by specialty, language and availability, analyse lab reports, scans and prescriptions you upload to flag key findings for your doctor, and draft consultation notes and prescriptions for your doctor's review. A licensed doctor reviews and approves all AI-drafted or AI-flagged clinical content, including prescriptions and report summaries, before it is shared with you or relied on in your care. You are not subject to a decision producing legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.

4. How We Share Your Information

Your health information is shared only with the doctor you consult and, where relevant, support staff involved in your care coordination. We do not sell your personal or health information. We may share limited information with service providers (such as payment processors, cloud hosting or AI processing providers) under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

5. Data Security

We use encryption for video consultations and data in transit, and apply access controls so that only authorised personnel and systems can access your health information. No system is completely secure, and we continually work to strengthen our safeguards.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, medical record-keeping and regulatory requirements in the relevant jurisdiction.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to certain uses of it, including AI-assisted processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@asiawell.in.

8. Children's Privacy

Consultations for minors must be booked and attended with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
